Pink along the top edge melting into purple tongues of uneven length, then black to the bottom row. Peyote offsets make the drips look poured instead of pixelated, and the woven band keeps its curve on a wrist without any stiffener behind it.

How to make it
- 1Cut the cordCut 310 cm (122 in) of 0.8 mm elastic cord. The extra is what you hold on to while you string — you trim it at the end.
- 2String rows 1 and 2 togetherThe first two rows go on in a single pass — 34 beads straight onto the cord. They separate as soon as you add row 3.
- 3Drop every new row into the gapsAdd a bead, skip a bead on the row below, pass through the next. That skip is the half-bead offset you see in the chart. Carry on to the top — 8 rows.
- 4Zip or tie the endsBring the two ends together and zip the interlocking beads to close it into a cuff, or leave it flat and finish with a cord tie.
- 5Tie it offSurgeon’s knot, pull it into the gap between two beads, then a dab of clear glue. Trim the tails once it is dry.
